Flown in many parts of the world, including the US, several European countries, and Venezuela. In 1997 he flew Paragliders twice. From 1999 he learnt to fly Microlights and Sailplanes. --- - 1981 Read a book called 'Soaring' about radio controlled models, started making and breaking them.. - 1985 Mid March, passed Hang Gliding P1 after training in the snow from January and February at Filey Bay in Yorkshire - 1991 Gained Senior Coach licence after a week's course in Lachens with Bob Harrison and Mark Dale - 1997 Flew a rigid, then thrown off Mere rifle range, then Olivers castle in a Paraglider - 1999 Started and got PPL(A) Microlight licence, FRTOL (Radio), BGA Bronze XC (Gliding) in 7 weeks at Gransden lodge - 2000-2010 Member of Hang gliding competitions committee, responsible for weather - 2011 Organized the UK + French combined National (HG) Championships - 2021 Bought a Rigid HG, revalidated PPL (A) Microlight flexwing, added Fixed Wing differences, Re-Solo Gliding after 22 year gap - 2022 Gliding Silver C, Distance 300km (3rd XC), 100 hours P1... revalidated HG Senior (Aerotow) Coach licence, Chief Coach for TVHGC (750 members) - 2023 After gainful employment am full time Aeroplaying. Class 5 Rigid Hang Glider. First Sailplane national competition at Lasham.
